The Choice"You have three choices", it had said. When I gave my desperate plea for any form of hint, it only replied, "Each has its own path, battles, consequences and concept of rewards. Of the warring forces, one must win. I cannot tell you more. You write your future."The Choice by Greatmar2
I stood there, my choices before me, three identical doors. The entrance through which I had entered the room, exploring the musty old house, now but a faint outline behind me. The right? I've always been right handed. The left? We're always told to stick to the left of the road. The center? That'd be the most obvious. But it'd expect me to take that one. Or would it expect me to expect it to expect me to take that one?
I walked up to the center door. There was no key hole through which to peek. So I listened, placing my ear against the cold metal knob in the hope of a clue as to what was on the other side.
The center door had the sound of flowing, babbling water. There must have been a river
Chapter Eight: Sunspiral ParkDeeth decided to drive around the lake while Dardarax went back to his classes. He had missed out on enough time as it was; it would look really bad if he just up and vanished from the campus. In the meantime, Deeth tried getting used to calling the dragon by the name of Kuvilo. He still wasn't sure where the name came from, but he didn't really care.Chapter Eight: Sunspiral Park by DeethIrteen
He parked his car in a side alleyway and had Kuvilo sit on the shotgun seat. Deeth held the bag of chips in one hand.
"Kuvilo, stand up." Deeth said. Kuvilo rose up on his hind paws and wagged his tail like a puppy.
"Good. Sit back down, Kuvilo." He sat down on all fours, squeaking. "Good dragon." Deeth tossed a chip in the air, and Kuvilo caught it in his mouth. Deeth smiled as the dragon chewed up the chips, still wagging.
"Hair issue notwithstanding, maybe this isn't so bad after all." Deeth checked his dashboard clock. It was just about time for Dardarax's classes to end. "Time to get going." He had Kuvilo hide under the seat again, a
War of Chaos Chapter XVIIIXVIIIWar of Chaos Chapter XVIII by Agent36496
Ares was at the significant place of ruins with his mind so focused on his one love that he ignored what he needed to do. It wasn’t something that he wanted. He thought so many times that he wasn’t counting, now, “I rebuilt my clan of sorcerers and elves that feel no fear of demise, and I have brought all the elementals together. The most significant parts of the lore of Greece, China, Egypt, the Russian Empire, Japan: all those wars. Thousands upon thousands fought to the death for centuries. All for what? Not all soldiers join the conflicts for the glory or the praise. I, like others, have been respected by magical beings just for my power. It was all fate that I was to become the face of darkness. Even when I grow old I will be shunned, ignored, and spoken against. That cannot be the point of seeming to be darkness itself. I can remember a time when I wanted to run away from it all, but where was I to go? I would be an outcast everywhere. So, I fulfilled my d
The Traveler's tale chapter 1 and 2Authors note: I use many references to books and stories of other people in this story; this is because they inspire me. All my stories are based on my dreams that may or may not have been influenced by the books and stories. I apologise to anyone who is reading this and has not red the stories I refer to or if you wrote the stories and you felt wronged by me. Chapter 1 background.
In this story I use a modification of the Multiverse theory as I understand it. My theory is that everything we come up with using our imagination is actually an account of an event from a parallel/alternative universe. This includes everything from a small lie to the best fictional stories from good old books. I cannot fully describe the multiverse but for this story imagine beads on a string radiating out in infinite directions from a centra
The Increasingly Absurd Endeavours Of Gretchen (1)I had been living here all my life, looking over the quiet valley of Upshire. This is where I have remained for many years, walled in by the prominent limestone cliffs. My abode? A stout, ramshackle cottage built from red wood and stone, an eyesore on the outside, yet cosy and warm inside, a place that could weather even the harshest of winters that the English seasons hurled my way.The Increasingly Absurd Endeavours Of Gretchen (1) by smileykaya
My name is Gretchen Goosander… Sadly I have no middle name, so I cannot tell you that. At fourteen, I am not legally supposed to be running a home all by myself, yet no-one even knows I’m out here, no-one ever bloomin’ bothered to check but, hey, the solitude is peaceful, albeit lonesome. There isn’t much to say about myself, other than the fact that I have my mother’s freckles, and also my aunt’s hell-to-tame ginger curls, which turn to frizz in even low humidity. Other than that, I am a dull person in my opinion, with no outstanding interests other than an avid collec

She felt the warmth pressed against her back. It was strange, but, nice, the other aura sleeping restfully.
Mierra made no move to push the unknown entity away, too comfortable in her bed, not to mention it was a weekend. The entity shifted and walked over Mierra, stepping on her side. She didn't move until she felt something lick her nose.
She opened her eyes and saw the cat looking at her with bright yellow eyes. She smiled and wrapped an arm around the cat, bringing it closer to her. She heard the tinkle of the cat's collar and said, “Let's find out your name shall we?”
Mierra parted the cat's neck fur until she found the collar tag and read it.
“Maddie. That sounds familiar...”
She shrugged and got out of the bed. The walls of her temporary room were maroon with brown trim and the carpet was a light beige. There was a fireplace across the room from her four poster bed with a small couch. Three doors were in the room, bathroom, laundry room, an
